Obasanjo, BOUESTI VC, Registrar, Others bag ICT-U Lifetime Achievement Awards

Former Nigerian President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, BOUESTI Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olufemi Adeoluwa and the University Registrar, Mr. Gbenga Ojo were among eminent personalities recently honoured with lifetime achievement awards by the ICT University Foundation, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA. The awards were conferred at the 6th convocation ceremony of ICT University, Yaounde Campus, Cameroon.

The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Ayambod Anya stated that the awards were in recognition of their significant contributions to educational administration and development.

Prof. Anya also described Chief Obasanjo as Africa’s foremost son, who has shaped the political, economic, social and cultural landscape of the continent for over five decades. Other award recipients were the Vice Chancellor of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Prof. Eddy Olanipekun and former Provost of the defunct College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti, Prof. Mojisola Oyarekua.
