BOUESTI Alumnus emerges 1st Runner up Best Teacher in Nigeria

An alumnus of the former College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti (now Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology), Mr. Femi Samuel Owoeye has emerged as the 1st runner up best teacher in Nigeria in the Public Secondary School category in the 2021 edition of the President’s Teachers and Schools Excellence Award. The Ekiti State born teacher graduated from the defunct College of Education (BOUESTI) in 2005 where he studied English/Yoruba. Owoeye won the Public Secondary School best teacher award in Ekiti State during the 2020 World Teachers’ day celebration.
