Chancellor drums support for BOUESTI

Legal luminary and Chancellor of the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education. Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti, Chief Wole Olanipekun, OFR (SAN), has reiterated the need for all stakeholders and well meaning individuals to join hands and support the new varsity in order to ensure the fulfillment of its mission. Chief Olanipekun said this while playing host to members of Council and Principal Officers of the University in his office in Lagos.
He stated that the establishment of the University was a long dream come true and it should be made to occupy its pride of place among the Committee of Universities in sub-Saharan Africa and ultimately in the world. He expressed his readiness to give tremendous support to the University while calling on other stakeholders to contribute their quota to the greatness of the ivory tower. Chief Olanipekun announced that he would donate a magnificent Senate Building as part of his contributions to the University’s development.
The leader of the delegation and Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Olufemi Adeoluwa thanked the Chancellor for the warm reception accorded the team and applauded his decision to donate a befitting Senate building to the University, a gesture he described as an act of benevolence for which the legal icon was known. Adeoluwa reaffirmed the commitment of the University authorities to work assiduously to ensure that the University attained an enviable standard.
